When deciding on a vacation destination, included amenities and activities are key to my decision making. When traveling with young children, teenagers and young adults, keeping them entertained can be quite difficult. At Port Royal, leave the planning to us!

I have put together a list of included amenities, in room and around property, as well as, complementary activities included in every reservation at Port Royal Ocean Resort. See for yourself!

AMENITIES

THE POOL & WATER SLIDES

Our Luxurious pool area will keep your family entertained for hours on end and provide a great place to find relaxation during your stay. The big water slides are open (seasonal & weather permitting) during normal pool hours and is a great way for the kids to let loose. We do require anyone using the big slides to be 48″ or taller as flotation devices or double riding are not permitted on the slides.

During the renovations, we’ve added 14 pool side cabanas to our pool area. Our luxurious pool side cabanas with premium furniture and cable television are also available for rent.

In addition, we’ve added a heated lap pool, splash pad and two smaller water slides for our smaller guests who aren’t ready for the big slides.

SAND & WATER VOLLEYBALL COURTS

Port Royal Ocean Resort features both a sand and water volleyball courts for your enjoyment while staying at our beach front resort. Enjoy a friendly game of beach volleyball with your friends and family located near the front of our resort or cool off with our water volleyball court located in our wonderful pool area.

Just stop by the front desk to grab a ball!

THE BOARD WALK & BEACH AREA

Just a short walk down our 100 yard boardwalk through the dunes lays miles and miles of beach waiting for you at Port Royal Ocean Resort! Our property sits along a 17 mile stretch of beach perfect for a family day at the beach or an early morning sunrise jog.

RESTAURANT 361

Bring the family together for breakfast, lunch and dinner Port Royal style! Whether you’re looking for a juicy hamburger, great seafood or our unforgettable rib-eye, Restaurant 361 at Port Royal has everything to hit the spot.

THE CABANA BAR

The Cabana Bar, located at the lower end of the pool, is the perfect way to cool off while in the sun. Whether you prefer to remain in the pool by utilizing the swim-up bar or cooling off in the shade of the cabana, our friendly and experienced bar staff is ready to take your order.

THE FROZEN STATION

The Frozen Station, located at the upper end of the pool, features cold scoops of Blue Bell ice cream to cool off. Grab a cone and beat the heat this summer!

ACTIVITIES

DIVE-IN MOVIES

Throughout our peak season, our lower pool area transforms to a Dive-In Movie Theatre open to guests of all ages featuring movies from Disney, Pixar and more!

Grab your favorite float and jump in – or get cozy in one of our loungers and enjoy the show!

YOGA CLASSES & INSTRUCTION

Once a week, we host a free yoga class for people of all skill levels! Come, relax and enjoy while one of our local yoga certified instructors comes and leads the class. Namaste!

AQUA ZUMBA

Join our certified Zumba instructor in the middle pool for a fun-filled Aqua Zumba Session and watch as people join in on the fun! Nothing like getting a little workout while cooling off in the pool.

SANDCASTLE LESSONS

Every Saturday afternoon at the beach in front of Port Royal, you can learn to build one of the best sandcastles on the island with Mark Landrum, the Port Aransas Sandcastle Guy! Mark has worked with many families and groups at Port Royal and provides a great family and team building experience.
