This weekend make sure to come out and celebrate the wonderful sea turtles! Padre Island National Seashore is celebrating 100 years of Texas National Parks and want to do so with the community.

There will be face painting, sea turtle booths, sand sculpting, and fun for the whole family at the beach! There will even be special Jr. Ranger badges for kids who make it to all of the booths.

There will also be speakers and presentations on the Kemp’s ridley turtles and the conservation efforts that are happening.

Make sure to get out and enjoy this wonderful celebration that the whole family can be a apart of! It will take place July 9th, from 9am-1pm.
