February is one of our favorite times of the year here at Port Royal. Aside from the obvious (our incredible off-peak rates and the all-to-yourself-beach feeling you just don’t get during the peak seasons) we love being a part of the Mardi Gras celebrations! We had just finished decorating this year’s float and had a blast in the annual Barefoot Mardi Gras parade on Padre Island. Last night, we joined in on celebrating Fat Tuesday in the annual Port Aransas Mardi Gras Parade. Beads, costumes, festively decorated bikes and golf carts are only some of the many reasons why the Port A community looks forward to the event each year.  Our friends at Kiii-TV 3 News decided to jump aboard our parade float for a quick live interview with our friendly Port Royal staff.  Click here to see our interview with kiiitv.
