Hi, Friends!

Are you visiting the beautiful city Corpus Christi or surrounding area? Are you a local wanting to venture out and enjoy downtown’s newest attraction? The Moonshine and Ale Sing Along Piano Bar on Chaparral Street held its grand opening this past weekend.

Perry Thompson, owner of Moonshine and Ale, located 301 N. Chaparral Street welcomed his first guests to downtown’s newest night life location. Thompson says they added longleaf pine barwood to give customers the feel of walking into an old moonshine distillery.  The new bar has 60 beers on tap and a variety of liquors to make any drink request.

Thompson also says they’ve hired 25 piano players with 15-20 years experience.  They plan to fly in the musicians from all over the country to play the keys for guests of all musical tastes.  Thompson says they know all know thousands of songs by heart.

“When you come in, we have request slips on the tables and you can put your song on it, write it down and send it up to the piano player. And they know about 5,000 songs and they’ll play your song for you,” said Thompson.

The first Moonshine and Ale in New Braunfels 10 years ago.  He says they’ve perfected the formula and decided to open their second one in downtown Corpus Christi.

Moonshine and Ale is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

I hope you will try out Downtown Corpus Christi’s newest nightlife attraction! I must say, I have visited the Moonshine and Ale in New Braunfels, Texas and we had the time of our lives! I know you will too.

Talk to you soon, Friends!
